scene scene scene

This was a circus troupe performing the show Androcles and the Lion for the audience, so the main location was a circus yard largely consisting of a circus tent where actors could enter and exit from as well as retrieve items. Another little touch was the plastering of classic circus posters about the proscenium walls to further the feel and simply add a little historical touch. For the actual locations of the show being performed, the stage was littered will all sorts of giant building blocks which the actors used to “build” each location they were in - which consisted of two houses, a cave, and an arena.
